Amanda Anisimova was born on August 31, 2001, in Freehold, New Jersey, and moved to Florida at age 3. She turned professional in 2016 at age 14, winning her first ITF title soon after. Her breakthrough came in 2019 at 17, reaching the French Open semifinals by defeating world No. 3 Simona Halep and winning the Bogota WTA title. After a mental health break in 2023, she returned strongly, winning WTA 1000 titles in Doha and Beijing in 2025, reaching Wimbledon and US Open finals, and achieving a career-high No. 3 ranking in January 2026. Currently ranked No. 6, she reached Dubai semifinals and Australian Open quarterfinals in 2026 but withdrew from Madrid with a wrist injury.Wikipedia, WTA Official, USTA
